Accommodation

The WAAG2026 Organisers have secured rooms at The Intercontinental Bali for the benefit of conference delegates. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the conference organisers to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates. Accommodation bookings close Tuesday 7 July 2026.

Accommodation can be booked via the online registration form. If you have already registered and want to book accommodation or require assistance, please email waag@encanta.com.au. 

Please note: Room rates quoted are in Australian dollars, per room per night and inclusive of 21% hotel tax and service charge which is normally not displayed when viewing rates on the InterContinental Bali’s website. Rooms occupancy is for two (2) people. Refer to the extra person rates if applicable to your stay.

Classic Room Garden View Balcony

Room Rate: $445.00/night

This 49 sqm Classic Garden View room blends Balinese culture with world-class facilities that include a flat screen TV. Each Classic Room has the ambiance of Bali. Floors are of tropical hardwood, hand painted murals are in traditional batik design. Headboards have intricate carved designs. Bathrooms have bathtubs and separate showers, dressing-room closets are walk-in. Furniture is made of wood from sustainable sources with a tropical touch. All rooms have a private balcony with garden views.

Each split level 79 sqm Premium Room has a Living Area and with Singaraja Lounge Access, ideal for couples and small families. The upper level master bedroom has a spa-style marble bathroom. The lower-level living room has a sofa bed and bathroom. The painted Balinese Temple wall mural has relief carving. These rooms all have modern technology and facilities to ensure contemporary comfort. There is a private balcony with garden view and personalized service extends to a dedicated Concierge Desk.

Please note:
During the evening cocktail from 5pm – 7pm, the access to the Club Lounge is restricted for adults only. Children at 12 years old and below will not be permitted to access the Club Lounge during Cocktail Hours. Alternatively, families with children will have a choice to be served at the New Club InterContinental Pool Bar in a relaxed outdoor seating during the cocktail hours only.

Terms and Conditions

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. All incidentals incurred during your stay are required to be settled directly with the hotel.

Incidental Charges

Upon check-in, each guest will be asked for a credit card deposit guarantee at IDR500.000 per day. These funds will be held as a guarantee and used to settle the final incidentals invoice on departure (if required). In the event a credit card cannot be provided, a cash bond for each day is accepted.

Deposit Rules

A deposit for the entire stay is due at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be received in writing.

  •  A one (1) night penalty applies to all bookings cancelled on or prior to Tuesday 7 July 2026. From 8 July 2026, any cancellations or amendments will be non-refundable.

  • Cancelling your reservation or failing to arrive will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

  • Reductions in room nights will incur 100% cancellation penalty.

Check-in | Check-out Time

  • The check-in time is from 15:00hrs. Earlier arrivals are strictly subject to availability.
  • The check-out time is 12:00hrs. Late check-outs are subject to availability and are chargeable at 50% of the room rate until 18:00hrs. After 18:00hrs, a full night room charge will be applicable.
